Who was a famous person in history who was killed or shunned for their beliefs which werent accepted? HELP?

HELP! I need to find famous people in history who were killed or shunned from society because of an idea that they had that was not accepted by other people until another time, like Martin Luther King, but I can’t use him! HELP please!

    born back in the 1600s you should be able to find him just about any where

    if you dont like him nearly any important quaker, abolitionist, or puritan from that time will work as well. saxman

    Hypatia, who was considered the most educated woman of her time and was head of the Library at Alexandria. She was murdered by a mob of bigots because she was not Christian.

    Thomas Cranmer, the first Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury, is interesting. He was arrested by “Bloody” Mary because he helped her father Henry VIII divorce her mother, and he signed a recantation of his beliefs to save himself. When he was sentenced to be burned to death anyway for his beliefs, he stuck out the hand that signed the oath, asking that the hand that signed to a lie be burned first. Jonathan D
