How many ex famous people are on the sex offenders register or have convictions for sex offences?

I can think of Pete Townsend, Chris Langham, Jonothan King, Gary Glitter,,,, can you think of any more
On the basis of this, do you think the entertainment industry has more sexual offenders than the regular population (I think this is unlikely) but if you do believe this, then what does this mean for fans of the famous, are they at risk from their idols?
