How can I become a famous singer?

I asked my mom if I could take singimg lessons but she couldn’t find any in Port Moody bc

anyone know anything or how to become a famous singer?

    If you’re still in high school, try starting in you school’s chorus. Audition for solo pieces, and get some notariety in your town. You may also want to start auditioning for musicals. Sometimes you can find info about vocal lessons and coaches through theater groups. If there is a community college in your area with an outreach program and depending on your age you might be able to take vocal lessons or join the college choir. That is where you begin making connections and will be able to find out more information about lessons and recording studios.
    If you have a microphone and the ability to burn CDs, then rip a CD of your singing and send it to a record company, if the company likes what they hear, they’ll contact you for a meeting to look at you and hear your voice live. Shannon A

    You don’t necessarily have to be trained. Just practice all the time and you’ll see that you will get better and better the more you try. Also, whenever a singing position is open, take it and other people will begin to see the gift too. Most recording artists start their careers by simply practicing and performing in front of others until find someone that they attract. Tabatha H

    why don’t you try singing without any training.

    i guess the natural response is to just keep singing, singing and singing!! anywhere, anytime..just, wherever!! like the many others who’ve responded, keep urself open to different opportunities to expose urself be it in a competition or even just at someone’s wedding.

    and importantly, stay true to urself!! dun let others dictate how u should sound. be original, but still, be open to receiving advise and sometimes, yeah, criticism. and, sing from your heart….

    Ummm,well…this is tough,but I hope it helps.

    Some singers become famous off the internet.There’s a girl named Thuy.Ever heard of her?I think she was one of those,since I’ve never seen her do any concerts.
    So,I think that you should sing,record,and put some on sites such as YouTube.Also if you want,there is a free karaoke program call Go Sing!It’s great!If you want,purchase microke,which gives you a score on how well you sang. qt_baybee_gurl

    Whenever you can-make yourself heard! Anything that you can possibly audition for, even if it isn’t singing will give you a good reputation. Slowly work your way up the ladder form small performances to well publicised events. Eventually somebody with some contacts will hear about you or see you live and will want to hire you!
