Do you have to be a famous footballer to coach premier league team?

I want to be a coach when I grow up but, I play football and I am very passionate about it. Do I HAVE TO be a famous footballer to coach a premier league team?

And can you please tell me some mangers who were not famous footballer but beacame a great coach.

    Sure, look at Wenger, Ferguson, Benitez, Mourinho. Never played at the top level, only Ferguson actually played. They just worked hard most of their life at coaching. Nothing that says you have to have played. All you need is a passion for the game.

    P.S Some good Premier legue players, Tony Adams, Paul Ince, Roy Keane were all shocking as prem managers so it just go’s to show :) Sam

    Give Sam the points. He made the correct point.
    You don’t have to a famous footballer to coach any football club. Bryan Robson flopped as a manager at Middlesbrough.
    A classic example is Arsene Wenger. He never played the game at the highest level. In fact, he was coaching in the Japanese league when Arsenal approached him. jyoti
