What are some famous food establishments in the United States?

I am taking a food class at school and an assignment I have to do Is list famous food establishments across the U.S. and what they are famous for. An example would be Gray’s Papaya’s hot dogs from New York, Gino’s cheese steaks In Philadelphia, Pinks hot dogs in Los Angeles, and Versailles Cafe’s Cuban food in Miami. If there are any other cities that have famous foods spots can you please let me know? The more the better! Thanks in advance I really appreciate it.
